PagePatch does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Data stored locally

PagePatch stores only information deliberately created or selected by the user:

• CSS rules and their selected page or website address;
• code or text snippets;
• ZIP archives, filenames, sizes, and saved dates;
• Ad Finder selectors marked as not advertising;
• extension preferences and short-lived picker state.

This information stays on the user's device. ZIP archives are stored in local IndexedDB and are never uploaded or executed. PagePatch has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, or cloud synchronization.

Website access

PagePatch requests access to a website only after the user starts a picker, starts Ad Finder, or saves a CSS rule for that website. Access is used to apply saved CSS, provide visual element selection, and locally inspect visible page structure for likely advertising blocks. Page content and scan results are not transmitted.

Network and remote code

The extension itself makes no network requests and executes no remotely hosted code. A CSS rule written by the user can reference a remote asset with url(...); in that case Chrome may request that user-specified asset while rendering the website.

Limited Use

PagePatch uses website access and locally handled user data only to provide its disclosed, user-facing website-customization features. PagePatch does not transfer user data to third parties, use it for personalized advertising or marketing, use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending, or allow the developer or other people to read it. This use complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sound shortcut

The optional keyboard shortcut changes only the muted state of the current browser tab. PagePatch does not change cookies, JavaScript, camera, microphone, or other website content settings.

External links

The optional PayPal link opens PayPal in a new tab. PagePatch does not process or store payment information. The Telegram link opens the developer's public Telegram profile.
